Infant Stem Cell Research

32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34 Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me...
37 Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?
39 When did we see you sick...?
40 The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'~ Matt 25

Yesterday President Obama signed into law permission for the use of infant stem cells for research. Why do i use the term "infant" instead of embryo? Because an embryo is a tiny infant. It is human life, and to research on human life is reprehensible. It is the stuff of the most horrible science fiction of the past.

When we used to read science fiction 30 or 40 years ago about harvesting humans to feed or enhance other humans we knew instinctively that it was evil. Today they change the words and make it sound noble.

I call upon those that are diabetic or disabled in any way that could "benefit" from these appalling research methods to let it be known that they refuse to be party to the killing of the innocents.

This is the second mention, today, I have heard of embyonic stemcell research being signed in approval by President "Obamanation".

A friend of mine said that she has been doing research on stem cell research and the stemcells can be harvested from the tongue of adults. So, why studie fetal stem cells?

Its all politics--there has never been any breakthrough with infant stem cells and they can get them from discarded placentas anyways. there is no need to kill anyone!

Isn't that sad and sick! completely unnecessary!

I heard the same as Jim, above. There are other ways to obtain the critical cells, so WHY make the issue of 'harvesting' them from unborn (or killed in utero!) infants? There's some sort of agenda here. It could be that some people want a legal precedent put in place so that later more violations of life can be put in place - such as aborting or even killing children after birth if they somehow do not match up to the expectations of the parent. I'm careful about believing conspiracy theories but Satan is subtle.
